Valentine's Day Gnome Tumbler

I loved doing this tumbler. I had to get a little creative when I realized I had messed up with my design.

I prepped the tumbler and spray painted it white. My first coat of epoxy I added some super fine pink glitter to it.

Once that dried I taped off the tumbler (incorrectly) and applied mod podge with Marth Stewart tinsel glitter in the color of tourmaline. I did 3 coats of glitter. Well.....when I took the tape off it so wasn't the look that I wanted. When I took the tape off the V shape was so wrong. I had to re-tape the tumbler to make the V that I wanted so I had to put glitter on the area that I had taped off...I was able to get things to match as much as possible. I sealed the glitter....or so I thought. I cut out the gnome in Cricut Design Space...I also cut my trim pieces at the same time. When I put on my next layer of epoxy I realized I didn't have the glitter sealed. It went all over my white area. I spent a long time picking it out with my tweezers...I was super frustrated. I did 3 more coats of epoxy to cover all of the glitter that I put on the tumbler. I have learned the hard way when you sand some glitter it will change color and I didn't want to deal with that on this tumbler. Here are the final results...

Glitter that I used...I have a ton of Martha Stewart glitter left from my card making and scrapbooking days so I am not sure if you can even get it anymore.
